Big news today at ICP Solar as we announce the acquisition agreement with WES Power
Its another defining moment for us where we continue to grow our internal intellectual property, this time through acquisition, in our quest to be the leader in innovative products for the renewable energy market. This move towards the power generation market does not mean we are giving up the consumer market. In fact, we are doubling up our efforts in that core market, all the while adding resources to attack the much larger power generation market. And the IP that the team brings with it will have tremendous impact on the next generation of power management systems for the upscale Sunsei(R) brand of solar consumer goods.
We have noticed that our style of customer-centric approach can lead to success in any market which may benefit from our core competencies of innovation and branding in the renewable energy field. We continue to invest in our rooftop tile and the WES products bring a very nice compliment to continue growth in that area of the industry.
Their team is fantastic, full of energy and typical of what I love to see in ICP Solar. It will be an interesting integration of yet another culture (Newfoundland has its own just as does Quebec) into the ICP Solar family. Welcome aboard guys, its going to be a great ride!
