It makes so much sense that the Obama government announces today further support for “clean fleets”.
At the same time, BMW announces that it will be investing in smartphone apps meant to support the delivery of its own electric vehicle program.
We are seeing global, worldwide coordination and collaboration in the effort to rid our streets of gasoline consuming vehicles, while we also note the upheaval in the countries that currently supply a large chunk of our oil. I expect both to continue to increase before either falls.
You cannot be a car maker of serious contention anymore without an electric vehicle initiative. And if your country depends on oil for a lion’s share of its income, beware that the end is within sight (do not confuse with near term please!).
Maybe I need to rethink the term “solar blog” for this outlet of mine. I am beginning to think that “clean power” may be more the way to go….suggestions anyone?
