So this year I am not buying anyone a card, I am emailing them one. I am not indulging in anything with monstrous packaging either. And behold, we now have “green chocolate” that we can buy!
Going green is often done just to say we’ve gone green, yet with each little step, we make what might start off for show into a great reality. I don’t laugh when people promote themselves as “green” just because they started recycling. Every little step is a positive one which should be encouraged and rewarded. Our kids have gone far more “electronic” than we have and therefore I often look to them for inspiration too.
By making this a green Valentine’s, you’ll save money and you’ll save a tree, and you’ll make a difference.

It never ceases to amaze me how are our own worst enemy. The Democrats, after 8 years of drought, plug up the best opportunity to show the “change” they represent by putting things like condoms in a bill meant to help the economy of the USA get out of the toilet? With credit to the new President, he was actually fighting alongside the moderate republicans enough to get a few of them to vote with him (this time), yet it is clear that the house Democrats who have their “now its time for me” thinking caps on, are going to be one of his toughest challenges to work through in Washington.
Sometimes the enemy is within, and I hope he has the wisdom to keep them close.

Today we announced a partnership with Integrated Metering Systems, of Florida, for grid-tie solar energy net metering systems working in tandem with our Greenmeter renewable energy web-based monitoring product.
Since we announced the launch of our Sunsei(R) Greenmeter, we have had several offers of metering companies which are already California Energy Commission approved, who wanted to partner with us. We chose IMS because of their history, their quality reputation, certification in California and depth of distribution with the electrical contractor community.
Our Greenmeter has already been installed in solar energy offgrid installations around the world and we are getting rave reviews. I am confident that are at the cusp of something great for ICP Solar with the acquisition that brought us the intellectual property from a small group of bright engineers. With our marketing revamp and our chinese manufacturing connection, we will make this product penetrate markets unthought of prior to our acquiring it.
We had previously thought that our solar energy creating rooftile would be our first product introduction into the grid-tie market, yet with the residential meltdown, we chose instead to focus R&D monies on the monitoring system, and it seems in hindsight to have been a good decision.
